2 “A note to wish you all the very best over Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Also a much overdue “Thank You” to the whole team of the service both office and care staff. You were marvellous with my mother for how many years, I can’t remember, possibly 13 years. She loved to see all the carers coming as it gave her great security, comfort and companionship. She was steely herself but she would have been lost without the wonderful service you provided. It helped, absolutely, to keep her at home until her death. Saturday 2nd of December, would have been her 102nd birthday. I know you all have to move on but I still miss her as we were great buddies. She was happy to move on and was ready. She had nothing to fear as she was so nice to everyone and so considerate. Even the week of her death she said “Sorry if I gave you any trouble” to all the care staff. She was a gem. Best wishes to you all.”

I’m on the Dementia Carers campaign Network for the Alzheimer’s Society. My words about your Carer don’t do justice to how important she is to us. Without benefiting from her care it must be impossible to understand how much of an asset she is to your company. I just wanted to give you an insight into what her care feels like to a family like ours”

I don’t have to worry about my aunt when I’m working and can’t get up to Dublin myself. I can’t praise her enough. She has a lovely nature and as someone who works with carers all the time I appreciate all they do. Thanks to Laura I didn’t have to jump in my car and drive to Dublin. Please let her know how grateful we all are and that she is held in the highest esteem by all of Mary’s family”
